Tuesday Night Revival is a monthly (occasionally twice a month) Balkan dance. Our repertoire and our name come from the MIT Tuesday night Balkan dance, but our dances are on Fridays and Saturdays. (All of our currently scheduled dances are on Saturdays.) Our dances are aimed at experienced dancers; if you’re a beginner, you might prefer the dances of the MIT Folk Dance Club every Sunday night, the Folk Arts Center of New England every Friday night (September to June), or Zdravets once a month on Saturday. Where: Church of Our Saviour, 21 Marathon Street, in Arlington, Massachusetts. See the directions page for more information. When: Usually, but not always, the first Saturday of each month, 8 to 11 p.m. There is sometimes a teaching session from 7 to 8 p.m. See the schedule below for the current schedule. Admission: $4.00 Mailing lists: Sign up for one or both of our mailing lists to get a monthly reminder of upcoming dances or to participate in discussions about our dances. Contact: For more information, contact Ira Gessel at firstname.lastname@example.org or 781-648-6887. Please bring clean soft-soled shoes to dance in, to protect the floor. Refreshments are always welcome!
